Michael's Zombies 2 [Foliage Env Art]

I was tasked to create various trees and additional foliage such as ivy vines for the title "Michael's Zombies 2", an unreleased game on the Roblox platform. I worked with the Lead Environment Artist to provide these assets.

These trees were created using TreeIt, a tree creation process that involves tweaking parameters to generate foliage. These parameters also allow for tweaking poly counts, ensuring the assets stay game-ready.
The ivy was created in Blender using Blender's particle system to batch-place planes of ivy that were created by baking a model onto a single sheet, then taking that bake and applying a drawn normal-map texture in Substance Painter.

The trees feature bones that allow them to sway in the wind in-game. Bone count was kept to a minimum to ensure that it wouldn't hinder on performance.
